Katherine Volpe is an artist from Long Island, New York. After receiving her BFA degree from Adelphi University, she relocated to Philadelphia to work towards her Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. After Katherine completed her degree, she exhibited throughout Philadelphia in the Historic Landmark Building of PAFA’s Museum, the Woodmere Museum of Art, and galleries throughout Center City, Bala Cynwyd and 1969 Gallery in the lower east side of Manhattan. She was the recipient of several awards, such as the Venture Fund Award and nominated for the Wind Fellowship and Dedalus Residency.
